The adrenaline is able to tune the brain and body for subconscious execution of learned behaviors, creating an experience with minimal conscious decision making.

Since the subconscious is in charge of everything and you don’t have to do much, Interesting note is that some have better autopilot than others,

Autopilot really started happening when I was around 14. I thought it was frustrating because I don’t oversee every action I do anymore, and what I did does not register in my memory. Autopilot is still frustrating today.

Mindfulness can be useful. It slows you down and makes you appreciate life.
